“From Chebokesaray, Russia, I wish to say ‘Happy New Year’ to all Guizhou people!” On the fourth day of the Chinese New Year, Guo Jiaxue, a Chinese student from Tongren City of Guizhou Province, who are learning in Russia, celebrateda different Spring Festival withKucherova Tatiana, the anchor of DiscoverGuizhou.

“我在俄罗斯切博克萨雷，给所有贵州乡亲们道一声‘新年快乐’！”大年初四，来自中国贵州铜仁的留学生郭佳雪，和贵州国际传播中心外籍主播缇娅娜一起，度过了一个不一样的“中国年”。

After skiing, cooking and wrapping dumplings jointly, Guo and Kucherova shared their experience of studying abroad, then they became good friends.

一起滑雪、买菜做饭、包饺子……贵州人聊对俄罗斯的感受，俄罗斯人谈对贵州的观点，相互分享留学经验，郭佳雪与缇娅娜一见如故。

Chebokesaray is the capital city of the Chuvash Republic in the Russian Federation, located in the northern part of Russia, with a resident population of about 500,000 and several universities, one of which is Chuvash State Pedagogical University, where Guo Jiaxue is studying.

博克萨雷是俄罗斯联邦楚瓦什共和国首府，位于俄罗斯北部，常住人口约50万，拥有数所大学，郭佳雪就读的楚瓦什国立师范大学，就是其中之一。

As one of the few Chinese students in the area, Guo Jiaxue has a different perception of the city: “This city is not a bustling metropolis like Moscow, but for me, itis quieter, soI can focus on studying and learn how to be independent.”

作为当地为数不多的中国留学生之一，郭佳雪对这座城市有着不同的感悟：“它虽没有莫斯科繁华，但对于我来说，这个城市多了一份安静，让我可以静下心来好好学习，也让我学会了如何独立。”

Learning Russian is why Guo has chosen Russia. Before arriving in Russia, Guo had thought that Russian was “a piece of cake” as she was good at the language. However, after one year’s study, Guo found that “every language is complex if people want to digest and master it”.

学好俄语，是郭佳雪选择留学俄罗斯的原因。从小擅长语言的郭佳雪以为俄语是“小菜一碟”。然而，刚到俄罗斯一年，郭佳雪发现：“但凡一门语言学到精妙之处，都会愈发地困难。”

Snow is what impresses Guo Jiaxue most about Russia. Born and raised in the southern part of China, Guo rarely has the chance to see snow. But in Russia, Guo saw it. Guo said, “When I came here and saw Russia’s snow for the first time, it didn’t let me down. It was really beautiful.”

雪，是郭佳雪对俄罗斯印象最深刻的地方。从小生在南方、长在南方，郭佳雪很少有机会看到大雪漫天的美景。但在俄罗斯，郭佳雪看到了，“当我来到这里的时候，俄罗斯的冬天真的没让我失望，下雪的俄罗斯真的很美。”

Although Guo could not go back to China and spent Spring Festival with her family, she was also able to have a small party with Chinese students in Russia. “I have a completely different Chinese New Year here,” Guo said.

今年春节，尽管不能回家与家人团聚，但郭佳雪也同在俄罗斯的中国留学生一起，小小庆祝了一番。郭佳雪说：“我在俄罗斯度过了一个与以往完全不一样的新年。”
