For years, a red sachet has been hanging on the wall of Ma Jing"s home. Ma Jing is a student from the Confucius Institute in Eritrea. This sachet is a gift from her friend in Guizhou. Every time she saw this gift, she would think of her days in Guizhou. "I hope to see the beautiful mountains and rivers in Guizhou again."

至今，远在厄立特里亚孔子学院的学生马静，家中都挂着一份来自贵州的礼物——一个红色香囊。每每看见这份礼物，马静都会想到在贵州的日子，“期待与贵州山山水水再次重逢。”

This is Ma"s reason for loving Guizhou.

这个香囊就是马静爱上贵州的理由。

On December 9th, 2022, "100 Reasons to Love Guizhou" Global Short Video Competition, hosted by Guizhou Daily and sponsored by Moutai Group for public benefits, has been officially launched on major domestic and foreign social media and platforms.

2022年12月9日，由贵州日报报刊社主办、贵州茅台公益支持的“爱上贵州的100个理由”全球短视频征集活动在国内外各大主流媒体和社交平台启动！

The event invites netizens in the world to share their stories with Guizhou through short videos and promote colorful Guizhou together.

活动邀请海内外网友以短视频的方式分享自己的贵州故事，讲述自己与贵州的不解之缘，并邀请大家一同推介多彩贵州。

When Ma started learning Chinese, she knew there is a province in China called "Guizhou". She wanted to travel to the Huangguoshu Waterfall, Libo"s Xiaoqikong, and Fanjing Mountain of Tongren; also, she wished to eat the sour soup fish, spicy chicken, and Wujiang fish with tofu. In 2016, her dream came true—thanks to the summer camp organized by the Confucius Institute, Ma came to Guizhou.

自从开始学习中文时，马静就知道中国有一个地方叫“贵州”。黄果树、荔波小七孔、铜仁梵净山……贵州的山水令她神往；酸汤鱼、辣子鸡、乌江豆腐鱼……贵州的美食令她向往。2016年，马静的愿望成真了。通过孔子学院夏令营活动，马静来到贵州，走过曾经向往的地方，品尝曾经想吃的美食。

Six years later, the experience in Guizhou is still fresh in her mind. Ma said, "Wait for me, colorful Guizhou. I will come back again."

六年过去，曾经的经历仍令马静记忆犹新，她说：“我多么希望有一天能再回贵州看一看。多彩贵州等着我，我还会再来的。”
